Tbilisi-Nantes Exchange Residency

This autumn 2025 exchange residency involved, on one hand, a 10-day visit by a Georgian author to the city of Nantes, and on the other, a French author’s visit to Tbilisi. In Tbilisi, DOCA hosted Nantes-based filmmaker Inès Elichondoborde from September 2 to 11. At the end of November, Georgian author Niniko Lekishvili spent 10 days in Nantes, France, during the Festival of the 3 Continents.

During this time, the residents worked on developing their personal projects, met with producers and directors from the Georgian and French film industries, and also met each other in person in Nantes within the framework of the Festival of the 3 Continents.

DOCA’s partners were the French Institute - Institut Français de Géorgie, the City Hall of Nantes, the Nantes School of Fine Arts, the production company Grande Ourse Films, and the film Festival des 3 Continents.
