Rati Oneli was born in Georgia in 1977.  He earned a Master’s degree in Middle East Studies from Free University. He also graduated with a Master’s degree in International Relations from Columbia University in New York and is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Philosophy at the European Graduate School.  Oneli’s works have been screened at various prestigious venues around the world, including Cannes IFF, Berlinale, San Francisco IFF, Sarajevo IFF, MoMa New York, Institute of Contemporary Art London, and others.
