Mariam Nikolaishvili, born in 1993, Tbilisi, is a documentary filmmaker. She holds a BA in Media Art from Caucasus University (2016) and trained in film production at ART-ON-THE-RUN Film School Berlin (2017). She participated in the USAID-funded mentoring program 16 Women for Change, the Ex Oriente Documentary Workshop (2024), and IDFA Academy (2024). From 2019 to 2021, she worked as an assistant director at the Multimedia Education Center.

Her short documentary Fear of the Past (2018) premiered in competition at CinéDoc-Tbilisi. She is the director and producer of For the Sake of the Future and is currently in production with her first feature documentary, Operation Champion.
