Magda Gvelesiani was born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia. She successfully completed her diploma in animation at the State Academy of Arts in Tbilisi in 2009. She has lived and worked in Berlin, Germany since 2013. Since 2019, she has been studying at the Bauhaus University Weimar - Visual Communication. Her Debut documentary film came out in 2021 “No Body and the Blue Sky”.
