
Elene Asatiani
Director
A documentary film director from Georgia.
Elene graduated from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) with a Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Arts.
After completing her studies, she worked at Indigo Publishing as a video content creator.
In 2017, she directed the short documentary film My Second Family, which was screened at TEA CUP Film Festival in Berlin and Munich.
In 2018, her graduation documentary film Asymptote received a Special Mention at the GIPA Docu Film Festival.
In 2019, she participated in the joint project 16 Women for Change, organized by the U.S. Embassy, the Multimedia Education Center, and SakDoc Film, within which she directed the short documentary The Not So Magic Flute.
In 2021, she took part in a collaborative project by Internews, FilmAid, and GIPA. As part of the project, together with Sevak Gabrielyan, she directed the short documentary The Rest.
