Anna Rowson Japaridze

filmmaker, cinematographer, editor

Anna R. Japaridze is a British-Georgian filmmaker. After completing a BA in Fine Art at Goldsmiths, University of London, she pursued an MFA in Documentary Film and Video at Stanford University with the support of a BAFTA LA scholarship. In 2022, she was awarded a Sundance Ignite fellowship on the basis of the films she had directed in Georgia. Anna currently lives and works in Tbilisi.
