Rusudan Gaprindashvili

filmmaker

Rusudan Gaprindashvili is a professional filmmaker from Georgia living in Germany. She has an education and professional background in visual and performing arts, media management and film production (SAE Institute Bochum, Middlesex University London). Her last short film "Fragments" won the promotional award of the Oberhausen Short Film Festival. Recently she has been working on the documentary project "How to Talk to Lydia", a German-Georgian co-production. The film has been part of several international platforms and festivals and won Pitch the Doc award in 2022 in Belgrade. As a storyteller, she is particularly drawn to reflecting on life in the posthuman condition and the state of alienation.
